Friends

The Friends of the Berne Library (FOBL) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to help support the Berne Public Library.  The Friends meet on the first Wednesday of most months at 7:00 p.m. in the library’s community room.  All interested persons are invited to attend these meetings.  The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 1.

Lasagna Dinner and Cake Walk is at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 4.  Please plan on attending to support the library.  Tickets are now on sale at the library.  If you are willing to make a tray of lasagna or a homemade cake, please contact Donna Gwin.

Photography Contest-  The third annual contest will be held in February.  Pictures must be submitted by January 31.  The themes for 2018 are as follows:  Hilltown Charm, Selfies, Colors & Shapes, Pets.

If you are interested in helping with fundraisers, please contact Donna Gwin by emailing bernelibraryfriends@yahoo.com or calling 872-2161.  If you would like to receive emails on Friends activities, please send your email address to Donna.

Even if you cannot attend the meetings, consider giving this group your financial support.  Membership can be chosen from the following levels:
Bookmark (individual $15 year)
Bookworm (Family $25 year)
Bookend (Family $50 year)
First Folio ($100 year)
Beaver (Volunteer with or without membership)

The Library is also happy to accept donations in any amount and the money will be put to good use. Checks should be made out to Friends of the Town of Berne Library and mailed to the following address:
